Don't Die Curious (Tom Rosenthal)

Crazy busy fun day and, following one of my up-at-1:30-a.m., read-until-3:30-a.m., then-go-back-to-bed nights, I am exhausted!

Just letting everything below speak for itself, with a chance of revisiting today's events at some point... or not... 😍

SONG:  Don't Die Curious by Tom Rosenthal

BOOK:  A Curious Mind: The Secret to a Bigger Life by Brian Grazer, Charles Fishman

POEM:   A Prayer by Toyohiko Kagawa

I want to be ever a child
I want to feel an eternal friendship
for the raindrops, the flowers,
the insects, the snowflakes.
I want to be keenly interested in everything,
with mind and muscle ever alert,
forgetting my troubles in the next moment.
The stars and the sea, the ponds and the trees,
the birds and the animals, are my comrades.
Though my muscles may stiffen, though my skin may
wrinkle, may I never find myself yawning
at life.

QUOTE:  “You can find poetry in your everyday life, your memory, in what people say on the bus, in the news, or just what’s in your heart.” ~
Carol Ann Duffy
